My little boy is so sweet. Just look at that face! But really, he's a sweetheart. Here's why. Last night, as dinner was cooking, I came and sat on the couch with Nate as he was watching a show. I asked him if I could rub his back, but he said no. So I then asked him if he wanted to rub my back, jokingly, but he said yes. He got up off the couch and came over and started rubbing my back. As he was rubbing, he proceeded to start singing all the songs, in order, that we sing before bed every night- Twinkle, Twinkle; Go To Sleep; You Are My Sunshine; and Jesus Loves Me. Ok, so I know you may be scratching your head, thinking, "So, what's so sweet about that?" Well, not too much, really. But the sweet part was after he was done singing. See, while he was rubbing my back, I pretended to fall asleep. So when Nate was done singing and rubbing my back, he then went to grab a blanket. He got it and tried to unfold it and put it on me, but he was having trouble, so he then tried to enlist the help of Grace, saying, "Grace, can you help me put this on mommy?" I wish I could have video taped the entire thing because these words really don't do his sweet actions justice. But my sweet little boy really touched me with his caring, nuturing, loving actions yesterday.
