I don't have a lot to say today because I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed. Although I had a decent loss this week, I felt it should have been more due to the fact that I started exercising this week, as well as reduced my points this week as I have moved into another stage of WW's. Anyhow, I lost 1.8 lbs. That's only .4 more than my average weight loss per week when I was eating 700 more calories per week and not exercising. So, this is the reason I am not thrilled with this week's results. I was hoping I would see a 3 or so, but that wasn't the case. At any rate, I am now down a total of 18.8 lbs. Someday I will see a 20lb. loss........
I did three days of the walk/run program last week. This week, I don't know what my plans are for it. I'll probably do at least three days for sure. I did it today, and it still made me feel good, but that was counteracted by my scale this morning. At any rate, I'm still happy with the program. I'm just not sure how much my fitness level has changed yet, if at all.
Anyway, thanks for checking in. Hopefully I will have more to say tomorrow.

EIGHTEEN POUNDS-THAT'S GREAT!!!!I knew you were looking good:) Don't despair, in a couple of days you'll hit twenty. Outstanding!
Hey Gabbi: Did you go down in points because of the weight loss and that's the points you're supposed to go to or you're cutting back cause you think less will go more quickly? You probably know this already but...if you starve yourself your body will hang on and you won't lose as quickly. Keep eating every 3-4 hours...just make the right choices. You are doing great....SLOW and STEADY!!
No, I cut back because I'm in a different weight range because I've lost enough weight to put me into a different range. I wouldn't cut back on my own, lol. I'm always worried when I get to the next range I'm going to starve and not have enough to eat. I do need to try to eat every 3-4 hrs, but it is really hard when you aren't hungry then. I'm also afraid I will be really hungry at mealtimes and because I snacked during the day, I will run out of points. I do need to try though.
I know its better to do slow and steady, because the weight will tend to stay off more so then if the weight loss was fast. However, I can't help feel a little discouraged at times, especially yesterday when a lot of the people in my group had lost 3, 4, and 5lbs or so. It was pretty tough to see those numbers from people when I haven't seen them for myself. But I do realize that 1.8 is NOT bad at all and I am feeling better today. Just had an emotional day yesterday.
Thanks.
Gabbi - any weight loss is good. Even if it was just a half a pound, you should be very happy. Good job!
