Today is my little peanut, my baby, my little guy's birthday. He is now 3. I can't even begin to tell you how strange it seems to me that he is now 3. It really doesn't seem that long ago that he was just born and here he is now so big and so full of energy and life. It's a bittersweet day, really. He's getting so big and has grown so much yet I'm a little sad the years are going by so quickly.
Happy Birthday, Nate. I love you more and more everyday. Watching you grow and learn has been a joy and I can't wait to see what the next 3 years brings (well, I CAN wait, but since I know time will go fast, I am excited to watch you grow even more).

Below is a picture of Nate in the hospital in a stocking the hospital put him in when we first got to see him after I was out of recovery (since it was around Christmas time.) Below that is a picture we took of Nate in that very same stocking. Crazy!!

It's been so much fun watching you grow up to be such a big boy:) We love you so much and are so happy to have our little guy around to visit and watch play with Grace!
Right now you are at Disney World-so Grandpa and I can't give you hugs (and rough-house)but just wait till you get home!!We are praying for you to grow strong in mercy and grace and to grow closer to Jesus every day:)
