Today is the 4th of July. We all know that. But today is also my dear hubby's THIRTIETH birthday. Yes, the BIG 3-0! He's not very happy about this, since it means he is no longer considered to be in his 20's. I have been finding this very amusing, since while most of you know I am *cough* 31 and have been in my thirties for almost a year and a half now, my wonderful husband didn't see what the big deal was when I turned 30 and had a big problem with it. Now he's understanding a little better what I was feeling and that yeah, turning 30 is sometimes kind of hard.
But really, I've been realizing a little more here and there that age is just a number. I still hate hearing the 3 part of my age, but I'm still young and I feel young. And that's what counts, right?
So here's to all the thirty-somethings that when I was a twenty-something I thought were "old." We're not really "old." Yet. Thirty is the new twenty. (Or was it fourty is the new thirty? I don't know.) And here's to my wonderful hubby. I love you, and I can't help but giving you a hard time for your birthday. But I really do love you. with all of my heart. You're the greatest hubby in the world and I'm so glad you're mine. You're the best one of the best ones! Happy Birthday.

Even though it's a couple of days past the big day-Happy 30th Birthday!!!We certainly enjoyed all the gags and over-the-hill jokes, all in your honor, of course, Ray:)
It sure is hard to believe it's been sooooooooooo long since you were a liitle guy. And yes, you really were a little guy once! And quite cute, to boot:)
