I've used this verse before, but I use it again now, because it fits so appropriately:
I Corinthians 1:27If you'd like to follow Kaleb's progress, please check out his mom's MYSPACE and read the blogs section. Her blog is the number one visited blog in myspace right now. It's so amazing how a blog that started out keeping friends and family up-to-date on Kaleb's progress has now warranted national attention from THOUSANDS of people. I remember when I first heard the story, I was unable to find very much info on the web about Kaleb and his family, and now there are pages and pages that come up on google.
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
Also, I wanted to share with you a song that Kaleb's mom, Kristy has had playing on her myspace. What a fitting message for what she and her husband are going through right now, and for anyone else going through a hard time. Please remember Kaleb and his family in your prayers right now, and all those who may be having a hard time right now as well.
Josh Groban- YOU LIFT ME UP (<---click to listen)
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.
There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.
